St Mary’s Church, Burford is situated in South Shropshire. Burford as a Parish is divided into three parts. We have a rural part which consists of around seven farms, which will soon be about five farms because of developments.

The Church sits near the River Teme. The earliest part of the Church is Saxon with extensive Victorian restoration with ancient Cornwall monuments. This makes our Church very attractive to visitors. The Church itself is unlocked during the summer months, the wheelchair access being an added bonus. Not only is the Church well kept but the Churchyard is as well.

Next to the Church is our most famous land mark, Burford House and Gardens which contains the National Clematis collection.

Visit our website for more information.  We are part of the Tenbury Team Ministry.
